Bumbu draws inspiration from the rich history of the Caribbean, dating back to the original recipes crafted by sailors during their voyages in the 16th and 17th centuries. Its name pays tribute to those traditions, a blend of rum, herbs, and spices once known as ‘Bumbu’.

Bumbu Original is crafted in the heart of Barbados at the historic “West Indies Rum Company” distillery, founded in 1893. Our XO and Cream expressions are produced in a legendary Panamanian distillery dating back to 1890.

Since 2024, Bumbu has proudly joined the Pernod Ricard France portfolio.

Bumbu Original is a masterful blend of rum and spices, crafted on the island of Barbados, known as the ‘Birthplace of Rum.’
